by Zivka Deleva
The global political scene has been shaken these few days after the Internet site WikiLeaks has provided the world with some very important security and strategical information about a lot of countries and personal data about politicians. About 250.000 diplomatic cables have been published and the site's founder Julian Assange announced that next on the attack would be the big American banks. This men is a threat to everyone that has a fly on the head. But, due to some rape charges in Sweden, Interpol has put Assange on it's list of top wanted criminals. Now, the most paranoid country of all, the United States of America now is devastated of all the information that some i! nsider has let go so freely. Trying to ruin the site, someone has attacked WikiLeaks about didn't make it. Pentagon now is facing a new security control, bigger checks on the employees, restraints so that a person could not take some information with himself. Obama and his administration say that was a direct attack to the U.S. The Secretary of State Hillary Clinton accused this publications that they are illegal. She warns that everybody who is going to be proven as a connected person to the stealers of the information, are going to be severely punished. It is interesting that all those documents didn't come directly from Pentagon, but from different embassies worldwide. U.S. lawyers preoccupation now is whether there is a way for WikiLeaks founder to be punished according ti a Espionage Act. Due to the Assange Australian citizenship, Australia's police is into the matter as well, but only playing a supporting role.
