Ova e vistinska tema - bezbednosta kontra zloupotrebata. Mnogu vlijatelni glasovi na našata era zboruvaat deka živeeme pod postojan strav. Iako političarite i mediumite postojano zboruvaat deka zgolemenite i bezbednosni proverki na aerodromite, metroata, zgradite i duri i na javni mesta se za naše dobro, nešto ne e vo red so sistemot. Utrovo, na primer, puštiv televziija, (češkata TV24) i reporterite pravea intervju vo Berlin, zašto beše spomnato deka Berlin kje stane meta na pretstoen teroristički napad. No, izvestuvačkata dvojka postojano prašuvaše dali lugjeto bile zaštiteni, dali gi izbegnuvale m! etroata, dali imalo policija vo graddot, dali ima smisla za panika vo gradot, itn. Intervjuto traeše okolu pet minuti i beše zabeležitelno od dve pričini. Prvo, izvestuvačite ne spomnaa nikakov izvor na teroristički alarm, nikoj što bi zastanal zad ovie "napad". No, ima eden drug problem - ovie kompanii nikogaš ne objasnuvaat zošto gi pravat ovie proverki, zošto ve kontroliraat bez vaše znaenje i zošto í se mešat na vašata privatnost bez nitu najmala pričina... Bezbednosta pred se.Dobro, sepak ne treba da zaboravime deka sé ušte imame pravo da zboruvame i da razmisluvame kritički. Administracijata za transportna sigurnost na SAD se soočuvaše so iljadnici poplaki od avionski patnici koi se ! 82;alat za načinite i za zgolemenite i voznemiruvačkite bezbednosni proverki i nedorazbiranja pred letovite. Edinstveniot odgovor što tie go dobivaat zvuči vaka...Ako objasnime, lošite momčinja kje znaat kako funkcionira našiot siste". No, ova ne e odgovor. Kompaniite kako ATS imaše okolu 13 vraboteni vo 2002 godina, no narednata godina imaa okolu 65.000 i tie treba da gi kažat pričinite i da gi odbranat racionalno. Zatoa što vo sprotiven sličaj, nema razlika pomegju bezličnite teroristički neprijateli od edna strana i mašinerija na sistemot na druga.

This is a real issue – security vs. harrasment. Many influential voices of our era speak that we are living under policy of fear. Although politicians and media gradually speak that increasing and never ending security checks at the airports, metros, buildings and even public spaces are done for our sake, there is something wrong with the system. This morning, for instance I turned on TV (Czech TV24) and reporters were doing interview in Berlin, because it was mentioned that Berlin would become a target of upcoming terrorist attack. But reporter's couple was gradually asking, what about the people, were they protecting themselves, were they avoiding metros, was there! a police in the city, was there a sense of panic in the city, etc. The interview took about 5 minutes and was remarkable for two reasons. First, reporters didn't mention any source of terrorist alert, nobody who would be behind these „attacks“. Second, although Berlin reporter replied them several times that the city was fine and people kept going on their own, even Angela Merkel told them to stay calm and there was no sense of panic, they were constantly asking the same questions. Was there a problem? What was the next target? Was Reichstag going to be evacuated? On and on, it kept going without any significant sense for comprehension... Well, maybe you are a daily witness of these small media situations and gradually and then suddenly, in one moment you find yourself believing that something terrible is going to happen. That moment you stop asking, who is going to attack? By what power and what sources media say so? You will be another victim of fear propagan! da. You stop being critical and accept they can control you in! every a spect of your life. Governments, policies, corporations, lobbists, Big Brother policies – all of this is slowly invading our system and they are constantly recalling past events – although 9/11 has been proved as a conspiracy and not real terrorist action, these powerful media are taking it for real and guaranteed. The list of these fake actions and programs would be neverending. But there is a problem – these companies are never explaining why are they doing these checks as they do, why are they controlling you without your awareness and why they interfere your privacy without the smallest reason why... Security above all. Well, we shouldn't forget that still we have the right to speak and think critically. Transportation Security Administration in the U.S. has been facing thousands and thousands of claims from airplane passengers who complain about the manners and increasing and disturbing security checks and misunderstantings before flights. The only ans! wer they get sounds like „If we are going to explain, bad guys are going to know how to work out our system“. But this is not an answer. Companies like this TSA had about 13 employees in 2002, but the very next year they had about 65,000 of them should give their reasons and defend them rationally. Because if not so, there is no difference between faceless terrorist enemies on one side and machinery of the system on the other side.

Piracy has big part from the history. It may be reasonable to assume that piracy has existed for as long as the oceans were plied for commerce. There were a lot of piracy groups that made impression and left their trace in history. Most popular of them are: Vikings from Scandinavia, Muslim pirates in Mediterranean sea, Barbary pirates in North Africa, pirates of the Caribbean in The Caribbean and many more. Piracy was back than a way of life, definitely strange way of life. Attacking ships every day, robbing them, taking lives being brutal. Living on the edge every day, taking a risk of hanging on a rope, in front of everyone being their entertainment of the day as a punis! hment for their act. Today maybe we think it is all history and it is written only in the books and in the movies. Unfortunately piracy still exists in some parts of the world like Somalia and The Strait of Malacca and it is called modern piracy. These piracy activities are causing a lot of problems in the water transportation and attempts against it are taken. International ships equipped with helicopters patrol the waters where pirate activity has been reported, but the area is very large. Some ships are equipped with anti-piracy weaponry such as a sonic device that sends a sonic wave out to a directed target, creating a sound so powerful that it bursts the eardrums and shocks pirates. Putting piracy like this, it’s not so fun any more.

Southern California was alerted Monday night a bit as there appeared a smoke trail resembling that of a missile in the sky. However, various US government agencies stated Tuesday that they were not aware of any missile launch in the area and were no table to explain the vapor trail. "Nobody within the Department of Defense that we've reached out to has been able to explain what this contrail is, where it came from," said Pentagon spokesman Col. Dave Lapan. Apart from Pentagon the reporters asked also the Air Force, the Navy, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, the US Northern Command and the Federal Aviation Administration. However, a series of civilian experts c! ame with an explanation claiming that the trail was left by an airplane, not a missile. Video shot by KCBS team in a helicopter showed an object flying near Los Angeles leaving behind a condensation trail. The video was made at sunset and that is the reason people confused the contrail with one created by a missile launch. "This thing is so obviously an airplane contrail, and yet apparently all the king's horses and all the king's men can't find someone to stand up and say it," said a defense and aerospace expert Joh Pike from GlobalSecurity.org. "I guess the president's out of town." According to him the object was moving too slow to be a missile. "There's a reason that they're called rockets," he added. Simple optical illusion caused the contrail to look like it started on the ground and then headed into the sky. Pike´s estimation of the situation was approved also by many other experts. "There are multiple hypotheses for the contrail seen near Los Angeles. But the m! ost likely one is pretty boring: It's a jet . . . viewed from ! a weird angle," wrote nuclear weapons expert Jeffrey Lewis on the Internet.
